Greenwich schoolof English
Post-course Employment
The qualification is vocational and, as such, Greenwich School of English understands the need for trainees to put their new skills into practice as soon as possible following the completion of the course.
During the course there will be an input session giving advice about finding an appropriate first teaching position and subsequent career development.
Additionally experienced GSE staff are happy to advise trainees on a one to one basis, with guidance on CV-writing, employment websites and specific jobs.
While September and January are particularly popular recruitment months, vacancies arise throughout the year.
There is currently a great shortage of EFL teachers abroad, so completion of the course should provide you with excellent employment prospects in the current marketplace.
The school's wide contacts abroad mean that employers will often approach us directly looking for staff.
The GSE also runs a large-scale summer school programme at centres throughout the UK, and we obviously favour recruitment of our own trainees for staffing.
ISIS Greenwich is a British Council accredited private language school and is part of the ISIS Education and Travel Group. The company operates permanent schools in the UK and supplies academic support for a number of international schools. During the summer months, ISIS runs a highly successful chain of junior summer schools throughout Britain.
