Teachers
Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering effective EFL lessons appropriate for junior learners. We help you in this by providing a comprehensive syllabus itself supported by accompanying lesson plans and materials. Further support is provided by the Directors of Studies and Senior Teachers. To help with your professional development, you’ll be observed at least once by the DoS or an Academic Manager.
For some of you this may be your first opportunity to teach full time since graduating from your teacher training course. Over the years summer schools have traditionally provided new teachers with their first teaching job. It is a baptism of fire but when you’ve done it, teaching only gets easier. At the end of the summer you’ll leave exhausted but with a bundle of lesson plans and classroom activities to keep you going throughout the year. More experienced teachers, who’ve perhaps spent some time abroad, welcome the fun and relative freedom that summer schools offer.
