	Venice Art & Discovery tour 4 Nights DAY 1 (Arrival day in Venice) Arrive in Venice or the Lido by your preferred choice of transport. You’ll have time to settle in and explore the local area before dinner. Day 2 Start your tour with a walk around the St Marks Square where you'll see the magnificent St Mark's Basillica and the Doge's Palace. Afterwards get a bird's eye view of Venice's beautiful palazzo and canals from the public viewing area in the Campanile. After lunch (not inc.) see more sumptuous architecture by taking a vaporetto (waterbus) along the Grand Canal to the amazing Rialto Bridge. Don't forget your sketchpads! . Other sites worth visiting The Lido di Jesolo Half-day excursion to Padua and or Verona Day 3 You can't visit Venice without a full day trip to the lagoon and its islands, San Michele, the city's cemetery; Murano, and its world famous glassworks; Burano, the fisherman's island with its picture postcard cottages and tiny Torcello Island with its medieval monastery. Day 4 Today you'll see how the Italian masters depicted Venice's breathtaking beauty with a visit to the Gallerie dell'Accademia, one of the world's greatest art treasure houses. The nearby Peggy Guggenheim Gallery is also worth a visit if you have time. The eccentric expat amassed an eclectic art collection during her time in the city.
