	Naples Discovery Tour 5 Days/4 Nights DAY 1 On arrival in Naples airport you’ll be collected by coach and taken to Herculaneum, the antique city destroyed along with Pompeii in 79AD and rediscovered in 1709. It was an affluent town surrounded by villas of wealthy Romans. Herculaneum was completely buried by the eruption. After the visit you’ll then continue to your Hotel on the Sorrento Peninsula in time for dinner. Day 2 After breakfast you’ll depart to Pompeii by coach where you’ll discover the incredible history of this old roman city that was completely destroyed by Mount Vesuvius’s eruption in 79 A.C. After lunch (not inc.) you will continue the excursion to the volcano itself. The braver ones among you can even climb to the top to see the massive crater with special guides. Back to the hotel in time for dinner. Day 3 After breakfast you’ll depart for a full day excursion to Naples. In Naples you’ll have a guided sightseeing tour of the main sites including Posillipo, Mergellina, Santa Lucia and Vomero. In the afternoon you’ll visit the archeological museum, which preserves the treasures found during the excavations in Pompeii and Herculaneum. Back to the hotel in time for dinner. Day 4 After breakfast, you’ll pass along the beautiful Amalfi coast, where you’ll make a panoramic stop in Positano, a beautiful town marked by its distinguishing architecture. You’ll then continue to the town of Amalfi with its famous dome. After lunch (not inc.), you’ll finish your tour with a visit to Ravello. Back to the hotel for dinner.
