BLACK FOREST - 170km from north to south, and source of the mighty Danube River, the stunning Black Forest is easily Germany’s largest and most beautiful expanse of wilderness. Steeped in myths and legends and awash with local crafts a trip to the Black Forest region will both excite and educate your pupils.
RHINE - Taking a trip along the Rhine is like being taken back in time to the Middle Ages. Medieval villages and towns tentatively balance on small strips of land on the Rhines banks and an abundance of majestic castles soar above the hill-tops. The Middle-Rhine between Koblenz and Bingen has been
declared a World Heritage site and provides and excellent base for school groups from which to explore the region.
ISIS has a large selection of accommodations throughout the Black Forest region. Our hotels are usually small, family run and traditional in style. All of our hotels are school group friendly. ISIS also offers special accommodation packages to Europa Park. Your group can stay in Europa Park’s on-site hotel or if you really want to give your students an experience to remember you can stay in a tepee in the Park’s Western themed campsite.
ISIS can offer a carefully selected choice of accommodations in the Rhine region. The towns of Boppard, Rudesheim and Bad Salzig are popular bases for school groups. Our hotels are small, usually family run enterprises located in the town centre, close to all amenities. ISIS also works with local hostels that are part of the renowned Hostelling International organisation.
ISIS offer other accommodations of a similar standard to those above. Please contact us for more details. Sample Tours
