	Krakow & Auschwitz Tour 4 Nights DAY 1 A coach will meet the group at Krakow Airport transfer to the city centre. Time to settle in & explore the local area before dinner in the hotel restaurant. Day 2 Breakfast followed by a morning sightseeing tour with professional guide visit the Main Market Square, the Cloth Hall, St Mary’s Basilica, Wawel Hill with Royal Castle & Catherdral.Tour Includes entrances to Wawel Castel, Royal Tombs, Sigimonds Bell & St. Marys Church. After lunch (not included) the group will take a relaxing cruise along the River Vistula. Evening meal at the hotel restaurant. Day 3 After breakfast the group will then go on to visit the Plaszow Camp, originally designed to be a forced labour camp but in 1941 was extended & developed into a concentration camp. Evening meal at the hotel restaurant. After lunch (not included) the group will visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine for a guided tour of Europe’s oldest still operating salt mine which is also recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Monument. A 3 mile walk with a special guide through chambers & corridors is an unforgettable attraction. Evening meal at the hotel restau-rant. Day 4 After breakfast, the group will depart for a fully guided tour of the Kazimierz quarter, the historical centre of Krakow’s Jewish religious & social life before World War II; the tour takes in the area’s most important monuments, including the sites which featured in Stephen Spielberg’s Oscar winning film ‘Schindlers List’. After lunch (not included) the coach will take the group to Auschwitz, the death camps made notorious during World War II by the Nazis. The trip actually entails a visit to both the Auschwitz & Birkenau camps, where students can see the gas chambers & the furnaces, as well as the cells which held the detained. As part of the exhibition, visitors get to see samples of the items taken from the prisoners, including hair, shoes, glasses & other possessions. Evening meal at the hotel restaurant. Day 5 After breakfast the group can spend the morning sightseeing or before transfer-ring to the airport to pick up your return flight.
