Day 2 After breakfast the group will head to the world famous Rijksmuseum, home to the greatest collection of Dutch paintings anywhere in the world, including the titans of Dutch art, Rembrandt and Vermeer. After lunch (not provided), your group will visit another of the city’s renowned museums, the Stedelijk Museum off Contemporary Art, where the students can explore the development of twentieth century art through a brilliant collection of paintings, sculptures, prints and graphics, photography and new media. You then return to your hotel for dinner. Day 3 After breakfast the coach will transfer the group to the Kroller Museum – a short way out of town near the city of Arnhem – to see a beautiful and varied collection of works by the likes of Picasso, Monet and Gauguin. After lunch (not provided) your group will visit the marvellous Van Gogh Museum, which holds over 500 of the eccentric Dutch masters’ works. After dinner, you will embark on the one must-do thing in Amsterdam, a canal cruise by moonlight! Day 4 Depart for the UK after breakfast.
