Day 2 After breakfast, the group departs for a tour of the Gassan diamond factory, where they will see close-up the diamond production process, including the chance to see the amazingly skillful cutters at work. After lunch (not inc.), your students will partake in a relaxing Canal Cruise on one of Amsterdam’s famous canals, from where you can sit back and absorb the unique canal side gabled houses. After the ride, you’ll return to the hotel for dinner. Day 3 After breakfast the group depart for the fascinating Cheese and Clog Farm, a two-part visit where students first get to see the production of the delicious Gouda cheese – followed by some tasting of course – then there’s a chance to see how the famous Dutch clogs are made. After lunch (not inc.), the coach will take you the short distance to the Amsterdam Arena, home of Holland’s most famous football club, Ajax. The visit combines a full tour of one of Europe’s largest multi-functional stadiums, as well as a visit to the club museum, the highlight of which is a multi-media presentation charting the club’s 100-year history. In the evening your students will enjoy a great meal at the Hard Rock Café. Day 4 Depart for the UK after breakfast.
