| Although we pride ourselves on the exceptionally high quality of the academic programmes we offer, we consider your welfare an equally important priority. Consequently, we provide support services for all the areas of students life in the UK : |
Personal
In every centre there is a Welfare Officer available to help you with any personal problems. Male and female staff members are on hand to listen and provide suggestions for difficulties that can seem much greater when you are based in a foreign country. We welcome the chance to help. |
Living
Finding the right type of accommodation is not easy when you do not know the city or the language so we have a number of options that our staff can advise on. They can suggest ways of finding suitable and affordable accommodation as well as helping you to avoid long waiting lists and bureaucracy. |
Social
We encourage you to take part in the school social programme and to form friendships with the other students at the school. Much of the programme is free or very cheap, and allows you to see some of the great city sights and be included in social events such as pub nights, sports competitions and cultural evenings. |
Financial
We know studying abroad is a substantial investment for all our students and any financial assistance is greatly appreciated. As a result, we offer you a range of discount cards in order to cut living costs and advertise part-time jobs on our notice boards. |
Studying
Students can speak to the Director of Studies to discuss learning difficulties and specific needs. The Director can arrange for a change of level, extra homework or a personal induction in the Self-Access centres in order to increase learner development.
