Assessment
Project work: Course projects are set and marked by tutors on a variety of subjects. Life in Britain, EAP and Optional Courses include a number of projects.
Presentations and Interviews: Business English and Optional Specialisation include assessment by presentation or individual interview, while presentation skills are practised in the EAP section of the course.
Examination: The Optional Specialisation courses, EAP, Business English and ICT Training are all assessed in some degree by a final examination. The majority of these courses are externally assessed EAP leads to the UCLES IELTS examination, Business English leads to UCLES BEC examination, and ICT Training leads to the ECDL qualification.
Entry Requirements
There are two entry points for the ISIS International Foundation Year in September and January. Students are required to demonstrate evidence of :
For all candidates: completion of high or secondary school in your country
For September entry: successfully completed IELTS 4.5 or TOEFL 457pbt/137pbt
For January entry: successfully completed IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 460pbt/140pbt
